En Route jest wystawą ośmiu nowych obrazów przygotowanych specjalnie do prezentacji w Otwartej Pracowni. Obrazy powstały od połowy stycznia utrwalając myśl i praktykę w bardzo krótkim przedziale czasu. Moja pracownia w Walii, wypełniona światłem zatoki Tremadog, stanowi centrum moich badań malarskiego koloru. Przedmiotem i treścią moich obrazów jest wzajemne oddziaływanie barw. To, gdzie i w jakim kulturowym kontekście praca zostaje wykonana i pokazana jest dla mnie bardzo istotne. En Route tworzy nowe kulturowe ogniwo między Walią i Polską, pokazane w Krakowie obrazy powrócą do Walii na wspólną wystawę z artystami z Otwartej Pracowni w Oriel Davies Gallery w Newtown.
EN ROUTE is an exhibition of eight new paintings made specifically for installation at Galerie Otwarta Pracownia. The paintings have been made since mid-January consolidating thought and practice in a very short period of time. My studio in Wales, filled with light from Tremadog Bay is the centre of my exploration into pictorial colour. The subject and content of my paintings is the interaction of colour.The cultural context of where and how the work is made and exhibited is fundamental to my process. EN ROUTE creates a new cultural link between Wales and Poland; the paintings will return to Wales for an exhibition with artist members of Otwarta Pracownia at Oriel Davies Gallery in Newtown during 2007/8.
